Course Overview
This advanced three-day training programme is designed to strengthen maintenance and reliability practices across asset-intensive industries. It focuses on improving equipment reliability, reducing unplanned downtime, optimising maintenance expenditure and extending asset life through advanced engineering methodologies, data-driven decision-making and digital technologies.
The programme explores advanced maintenance strategy development, Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM), FMEA/FMECA, asset criticality assessment, reliability modelling, predictive and condition-based maintenance, root cause analysis, maintenance planning and scheduling, and asset performance management. Participants will also examine the application of AI, predictive analytics, IoT and digital twins to enhance failure prediction, maintenance prioritisation and operational performance.
Through practical case studies relevant to oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation, utilities, manufacturing, mining, ports and marine operations, the course addresses challenges such as ageing equipment, critical spare-parts availability, resource constraints, maintenance backlogs and operational risk. The programme emphasises translating reliability data into actionable maintenance strategies, measurable performance improvements and sustainable asset management.
By combining advanced technical methodologies with practical industrial applications, the programme enables participants to develop a structured approach to maintenance optimisation, improve asset availability and build a long-term reliability improvement roadmap aligned with organisational objectives.
